I believe that our piece met most of the aims we were given, there were no obviously noticeable continuity errors and most of the film was fluid and made sense.
I thought the script and choice of camera angles worked well and all the acting was fluid and convincing, though we did have a few problems with memorizing the script and had to do quite a few takes of one or two scenes but in the end we were able to get all the scenes done well.
I would have liked there to be some music during the credits but we weren’t able to find any copyright free music. Another problem we had was filming in the short space we had which lead to some tight camera angles but we were able to make it work and find some good angles.
It was our first time using adobe Premier so we did have a few problems getting used to it in the beginning but it was relatively intuitive and easy to use once you get used to it. We had a very hard time capturing our footage initially because of the large amount of the footage we had, which also made it difficult to find the clips we needed.
I learnt a lot filming this, for example I learnt that You should film footage in proportion to how long the film your making so if you are making a 1 minuet film you shouldn’t need 10 minuets of footage, also that before you should film you should make sure that you are very organized to make sure you use your time effectively.
